I have spent decades capturing the world as it is documenting moments, light, and time. But my journey has led me beyond that. Between Light and Shadows is not about documentation; it is about transformation. It is about pushing photography into the realm of feeling, where an image is not just seen but experienced.

My work is inspired by chiaroscuro, Baroque painters, and surrealist filmmakers—artists who understood that darkness is not the absence of light, but a force of its own. I use layered light, deep contrast, and a painterly approach to create an atmosphere that feels both ancient and unreal. The hues in my colour work and the obscurity in my monochromes are intentional—designed to evoke something beyond recognition, a world imagined rather than recorded.

Solitude, time, impermanence these are not just themes; they are the foundation of my process. Every piece is crafted with archival pigment printing, preserving the tonal depth and texture that make these images feel like fragments of memory.

My goal is not to define meaning but to create a space where meaning unfolds. In light and shadow, we find the in-between—the space where presence lingers and time dissolves.
